How to Make White Chocolate Cheesecake Pops?

There are multiple ways you can design these chocolate cheesecake pops but the recipe to make them is pretty much the same for all cases. The main dessert is still the cheesecake itself, but it is structured into small balls and then dipped in the white chocolate as a coating.

Some people like attaching them to sticks to make them look like lollipops, and others like displaying them on a plate as if they were chocolate bonbons. The presentation is still up to you, but we will help you know how to make this chocolate cheesecake pops in the steps below:

Step 1: Get All the Ingredients

When you are out shopping for ingredients for your white chocolate cheesecake pops, you must remember to get 2 types and sets of ingredients. One set of ingredients will be for the cheesecake recipe itself. And the other set of ingredients is meant for the chocolate pop recipe.

For the cheesecake, the ingredients will be like every basic cheesecake recipe out there. You will need cream cheese, sugar, flour, vanilla essence, salt, eggs, and heavy cream. These ingredients are enough for you to nail the perfect cheesecake.

Now for the chocolate pops part of this dessert, you will need a different set of ingredients. You will need crackers, white chocolate, sticks, and sprinkles. When you buy crackers, you need to make sure they are not salty kind. Preferably graham crackers are the best choice.

They are perfect for sweet dishes but do not taste too sweet either. You can adjust the sweetness on your own. The sticks can either be kebab sticks or lollipop sticks, depending on which type of sticks you find in the shop. As long as they are clean, it doesn’t really matter what kind they are.

The sprinkles are optional, though. You can choose your own way of decoration. Some people like buying edible gold or silver leaves or sheets and wrap the cheesecake pops with it to make it look like candy wrapping. But the decoration isn’t really that important and can be skipped.

Step 2: Make the Cheesecake

When you are making the cheesecake, you need to clear your kitchen counter and only place the ingredients meant for the cheesecake. Make sure all the ingredients are already at room temperature.

Before you begin mixing the ingredients, you need to set your baking oven to the preheat option and set it at 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Grab yourself a large mixing bowl and dump in 16 ounces of cream cheese. Begin beating or whisking the cream cheese and slowly add in more of the ingredients while beating. It helps if you have an electric beater so that your work is done faster and less effort or energy is needed.

After the cream cheese looks a bit fluffy but has peaks on the top, you can now add ¾ of a cup of sugar depending on how sweet you want it to be. After mixing the sugar in with the cream cheese, add one and a half tablespoons of flour, one teaspoon of vanilla, and a pinch or two of salt to even the flavor out.

Now you need to move on to the eggs. You need about 3 eggs. With two of those eggs, you will add them whole. With the third egg, you need to separate the egg yolk from the egg whites and add that egg yolk to your cheesecake mixture.

And when all this is mixed, you need to add in 2 tablespoons of the heavy cream and mix again.

Step 3: Bake the Cheesecake

Take an 8-inch cake pan and pour in the whole cheesecake mixture. Put the pan in the baking oven, which is already preheated by now. Let it bake in there for about an hour or less.

When you think the cheesecake is baked thoroughly, take it out and let it cool on the kitchen counter for about an hour. Then cover it up and let it cool again in your fridge for a whole night.

Step 4: Make the Chocolate Pop

Grind the crackers into crumbs in your food processor or by beating it with dough rolling pin. Pour the crumbs in a bowl and keep it aside. You should have about one and a half cups of those cracker crumbs in the bowl.

After you have taken the cheesecake out of the fridge, scoop out a tablespoon of it and roll it between your palms till it becomes a ball. Then roll it in the bowl of crackers. Take one of your sticks and insert it into the cheesecake ball.

At the same time, hold onto the stick and dip the cheesecake ball into the bowl of white chocolate until it is fully coated. Repeat this process with all of the cheesecake and melted chocolate.

On the side, you need to have a tray with a baking sheet or parchment paper aligned on it so that you can place each cheesecake pop on it while you are making the rest.

And after you have assembled all the pops on the tray, you can decorate it with sprinkles, edible glitter, or edible leaves. Then you need to put the tray in the fridge and let it chill overnight. You can either serve it with the sticks still attached to the cheesecake pops, or you can pull them out.
