We are organising a floristry workshop demonstration in our Bath shop – all the details are in the poster on the right hand side.

Polly Nicholson {nee Bayntun} has a Diploma in floristry from the Chelsea Physic Garden and has created the Bayntun Flowers business on her Wiltshire estate, at the foot of the Marlborough Downs near Calne. Her surname may sound familiar to Bath residents – her family also owns the famous George Bayntun rare books and fine binding emporium on Manvers Street and her brother Edward Bayntun is Chairman of the beautiful No. 1 Royal Crescent Museum, one of Bath’s top visitor attractions.

Polly event

Polly keeps bees and rare breed sheep and helped by her team of gardeners has planted a huge cutting garden that produces flowers for her private client bouquets and arrangements as well as the bunches you can buy in The Foodie Bugle Shop. We regularly showcase her deliveries on our Instagram page, and you can also follow Polly’s work on her own Instagram page here.

We hope you will come and enjoy some wine and seasonal food whilst listening to Polly as she shows us how to create beautiful bunches for the table, sideboard or mantelpiece.
